Having a baby is not cheap. A new infant stroller is slated to hit the market in April of 2013.
Featuring aluminum alloy wheels, windproof fabrics, leather accents and air ride suspension, the baby mobile sells for
approximately ,000! Luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin joined forces with pram maker Silver Cross to design and carry out the luxury stroller.
Both British companies are known for high-end, impressive engineering. Named, The Silver Cross Surf, Aston Martin Edition, the new stroller is available exclusively at Harrods on a limited edition basis as only 800 pieces have been crafted for worldwide distribution.
Harrods describes the pram stating "crafted from selected high-tech luxury materials, it cocoons and protects like no other. It's the perfect choice for parents who want to experience the very best with their baby right from day one."
In 2011, a streamlined infant carriage was in the making from another automaker. Created by Porsche Design, it was specially created to fit in any compact Porsche luxury model car.
Equipped with ball-bearing wheels, the sturdy frame was built from carbon fiber and aluminum. Leather trim topped it all off.
